An experiment on creating the sense of movement in film through stop-motion animation, aspect ratio, and sound. Shot as thousands of still photographs with long exposure and later edited as a stop-motion animation, it tries to externalize the perception of a dancer in improvising performance. The feeling of unification (“Yi" in Chinese) of mind, body, and space that happens in improvisation is companied by the dancer’s breath. It is also a device to bridge the audience, who is in the outer world, to the film, the inner world.

It’s a film that questions love and criticizes toxic love. It uses repetition of sound, changing shapes, and their variations to create dramaturgy. The structure resembles the music structure employed by many contemporary classical musicians such as Ludovico Einaudi and Olafur Arnalds
